Who we are
Ngamuru Advisory was established to provide strategic and commercial advice primarily to Government clients by people who are passionate about delivering government projects better for the benefit of the taxpayer.
Ngamuru (pronounced ‘na-muru’) aims to provide strategic advisory and commercial services to the Commonwealth and State/Territory Governments and their related agencies.
We inspire and enable our clients to deliver great projects and initiatives for the good of the nation. We provide practical, common-sense and effective advice and assistance to our clients.
Ngamuru Advisory is based in Canberra but operates throughout Australia.
Ngamuru Advisory recognises the challenges and disadvantage which Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have faced and continue to face in the Australian community. We are proud to have adopted an Aboriginal word as the name of the business following consultation with Guwaali (a cultural services consultant) and elders from the Sydney metropolitan community. "Ngamuru" means "compass" or to "see the way" in one of the Sydney Aboriginal languages.
We are currently taking steps to strengthen our commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people by developing a Reconciliation Action Plan.
At Ngamuru Advisory, our people are committed to helping our government clients to deliver their projects and initiatives for the good of the nation and the greatest benefit of the taxpayer.
We engage talented, ethical and experienced people who combine their practical and hands-on experience and with their passion for delivering great outcomes for Government.
We are able to draw on a wide base of specialist consultants to provide expertise and assistance for all kinds of projects and policy initiatives that Government agencies wish to undertake. In this way, Ngamuru is able to provide strong, dedicated and experienced individuals and teams to support the delivery of these projects and initiatives.
Our Managing Director is Harry Dunstall who was formerly the acting Chief Executive Officer of the Defence Materiel Organisation (CEO DMO) in the Department of Defence. Prior to that, he was the Deputy CEO DMO and General Manager Commercial in the DMO. Harry was responsible for managing the strategic commercial issues faced by the organisation in dealing with major Defence prime contractors and leading the initiatives to achieve a more business-like focus throughout the organisation.
Ngamuru Advisory is a growing company. We act for Government clients primarily in the areas of strategic commercial advice, including advice on procurement strategies.
We are seeking to strategically recruit staff to assist and grow with our business. Part of our success at Ngamuru Advisory is due to the professional advice and support provided by our high calibre staff.
